This is for the thinkers. The frustrated. The ones who’ve tried every diet, every training plan, every “detox” and still feel like something’s off.

I’m writing to anyone who’s ever said:

  • “I’ve done everything ‘right’ and I still feel average.”
  • “I just want straight answers, not influencer fluff.”
  • “Why does everything have to be so complicated?”

My Journey (And Why I Question Everything)

About a decade ago, I went vegetarian… and did absolutely everything wrong. I was under-fueled, overtrained, and completely convinced I was doing my body a favour. What I didn’t realise then was that I’d fallen into a rabbit hole of surface-level advice and well-dressed misinformation.

Then came university — and with it, the gift (or curse) of critical thinking. I studied Exercise & Sport Science, then completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Along the way, I learned how to question research, challenge mainstream health narratives, and test ideas against reality — not Instagram.

Since then, I’ve worked with athletes, injured desk workers, and weekend warriors. I’ve experimented with protocols, supplements, cold plunges, sleep trackers, ancestral eating, magnesium sprays, and yes — even those “miracle” mushroom powders everyone raves about.

Some of it worked. Most of it didn’t. Every failure taught me more than any textbook ever did.

What Makes This Blog Different?

I’m not here to promise a magic protocol. I don’t have a supplement line to push. I won’t tell you the “one best” way to live forever (spoiler: no one can).

What I will do is share what I’ve learned — and what I’m still learning — with complete transparency. This blog is about:

  • Empowerment through skepticism
  • Wellness without worship
  • Doing the basics well before jumping into the weird stuff

Because health shouldn’t be a full-time job. It should be something you can understand, apply, and trust — without needing a PhD in buzzwords.

Do I say no? Never.

Because real health isn’t just macros and sleep hygiene. Sometimes, it’s gratitude. It’s connection. And yeah — it’s a plate of hand-rolled gnocchi that could end you. That’s balance.
